| Powerhouse | Ah, there it is :) Thu Feb 13 12:29:04 2003 |
| Powerhouse | Well what's happened to the generousity of spirit so often displayed on this page? Mind you I've never come accrss any asylum seekers in this neck of the woods, it might be a different story if they were coming over HERE and stealing OUR jobs and ravishing OUR women. Anyone going to the Anti War protest? Thu Feb 13 12:27:09 2003 |
| mat | War is bad and should never happen. Asylum seekers must be let in the bloody country, yeah some of the buggers are gonna take the piss but that's no reason fuck 'em all off. How many have 'our' people take the piss out of the dole system, fucking loads that's how many but we don't say "Right, some of you have misbehaved so we're not giving dole out anymore!". People are People (so why should it be...) the whole of the human race has got where it is today because we have helped each other over the course of mankind's history, let's not turn into a bunch of cunts and end up destroying everything aye?oh, and Soggster, i'm the best at Super Sprint (Atari ST version), gimmme any joystick, keys or whatever and i'll wup yu' ass into last place! I AM THE BEST!!!! we used to refer to the yellow car as "the banana". I always though it was a shame you couldn't play with the green car too... Thu Feb 13 12:27:04 2003 |
| Joe Le Taxi | So, this new GBA SP, is it basically a GBA in a new box with backlit screen and rechargable battery, ie. no new processing power or sound/gfx capability? Thu Feb 13 12:13:25 2003 |
| green fairy dot com | Craig, have you let the Daily Mail hold their AGM in here? Thu Feb 13 11:37:57 2003 |
| mwng | 5 star Hotels and crap? Fucks sake, if you're going to moan about assylum seekers at least qualify your statements instead of making shite up. Let them in I say, if London gets bombed to fuck it's a bonus. Thu Feb 13 11:33:56 2003 |
| Jacqui | I agree it's there problem not ours Britain should be for the british! So what if they go home and die that is there country's fault not our problem! They always say the world is over populated so a few of the scum dieing wouldn't harm would it! It's not just they fact they are here it is the fact that they get put up in 5 star hotels and crap it's bloody ridiculous! They is such a huge majority about illegal and legal imigrants here why don't the government listen to the people of there country! Huge conspiracy here I think! Thu Feb 13 10:59:55 2003 |

| Sickdick | It seems more trouble and suffering has been caused rather than prevented in the name of "Human Rights" the same rights have allowed asylum seekers to wander freely around the country, and now 100,000 have "dissapeared", well fucking hell how about that eh, like noone thought that could happen.BOLLOX.It's all fine and dandy sitting in a big fuck off house in hampstead and doing yer shopping in harrods, BUT they the liberal minded activists don,t have thesefuckers hassling em as they walk down the local high street selling rip off fags and shit like that. SEND THEM BACK, who cares if they face danger FUCK EM. Thu Feb 13 10:38:45 2003 |
| Soggster | But how many of those people on the march would believe it was planted by terrorists, and how many would believe it was done by the government in order to justify their current stance. Thu Feb 13 09:37:19 2003 |
| Fat Uncle Mark | Oh, wouldn't it be deliciously ironic if there was a terrorist bomb at this weekend "No to WAR!" march through london... That would change a few peoples opinions on this matter... Thu Feb 13 03:19:06 2003 |
| Sickdick | I agree this country IS fucked.......fuking illegal immigrant BASTARDSSSSSSS.... come on BRING on the WAR...fecking SCUD missiles? better off with a catapult......BUT BUT BUT...if we beat Iraq then a whole new bunch of refugees will appear, like the 30 or so al-quaieda fighters here now claiming the new leadership will kill them if Britain sends them back...SO FUCKING WHAT. Wed Feb 12 21:55:55 2003 |
| POWERHOUSE | IGNORE ME AT YOUR PERIL, ROTHWELL Wed Feb 12 20:50:24 2003 |
| craig | i have to say i think the SP looks awful, its much bigger than the gba, even bigger than the first ever black and white gameboy! But believe it or not everyone is waiting for it... Wed Feb 12 20:19:40 2003 |
| Trashcity | Craig, I am not conviced about GBA SP, litium battery pain in the arse it's will be no good if your battery goes flat in the middle of the iraq battlefield. You just can beat duracell battries, and as for the look of it. It look like crap compared to the sleek curvey GBA, what that i hear you say but it got a backlighted screen, there just for notherners who go out in tshirts and miniskirts in the snow !! Wed Feb 12 20:13:39 2003 |
| Johnsy | http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/islands_oceans_poles/easterisland.jpgI bagsy 'Punta Baja' and plan to rename it 'Johnsyville'....... Wed Feb 12 19:51:45 2003 |
| Johnsy | Fucking Hell, it seems to me these terrorist bastards have got us by the goolies - all they have to do is leak a rumour that their going to attack, then sit back and laugh while Blair sends the troops out.....do that enought times until we become convinced its not going to happen, then away they go......shit.Basically, I think this country is fucked, and I would advise everybody to move to Easter Island. Wed Feb 12 19:48:23 2003 |
| Soggster | Went round to Johnsy's house the other night. Found out that I'm simply a Super Sprint (Atari ST version) genius. Maybe I should put it on my CV. Wed Feb 12 19:45:13 2003 |
| Powerhouse | I vote NO WAR. Ha! There is not going to be any war between Iraq and anyone else this year (or next). Lend us a gba craig, go on. Wed Feb 12 16:14:03 2003 |
| mwng | April 22nd. about 2:00 UK time. I consulted the tea leaves. Well, actually I scratched me pubes when I was soing a shit and watched the formation of the black bits in the water. Reliable as fuck that is. Wed Feb 12 15:59:32 2003 |
| Sickdick | H Wed Feb 12 15:46:35 2003 |
| Sickdick | Good man yerself Craig....Opps still in Wogan mode.......I would like to start the ball rolling with my prediction of March 3rd 9.00pm. I have already bought me popcorn to watch the night bombers light up Bagdad. Wed Feb 12 15:43:28 2003 |
| craig | guess the iraq war date... i like it... and the TIME too, USA time, no GMT as we only have one time zone. Yeah... i'll set that up. Wed Feb 12 14:12:41 2003 |
| craig | yep AB price is dropping to £19.99 in the next couple of days (just shifting the last of the more expensive ones ;). Wed Feb 12 14:09:25 2003 |
| Sickdick | (in my best terry wogan voice) "Sidekick you say" My dear Madman hoosane.....Mrs Wildberries from Doncaster writes "Dear Tel.. can you tell that nice mr Hoosane to allow the village in bloom inspectors to judge his blooms, he is jepordising the whole competition, AND I hear he has an abnormal size marrow too.Ah well back to song for europe. Wed Feb 12 12:52:44 2003 |
| mat | Ah-Ah! it worked! Wed Feb 12 12:35:40 2003 |
| Mr Saddam Hussain | NOOOoooo sidekick you are mistaken it not very hot in iraq at the moment, but hey why not come for a hoilday you can be my guest or one of my doubles. I could arrange a atom tan for you at one of our tanning salons. psssssst don't tell the UN !!!! Wed Feb 12 11:37:49 2003 |
| AGBA | According to the afterburner website, the price has dropped to $25, will you be ajusting your price to? Wed Feb 12 10:09:18 2003 |
| Sickdick | Hows about a comp as to what date the yanks attack Iraq? March is looking very hot right now. Wed Feb 12 09:27:58 2003 |
| Powerhouse | Mornin Craig, my gba game is coming along quite well thank you very much, only trouble is I haven't got any hardware to test it on...... am I allowed to send it to you before the competition ends so you can tell me whether or not it works on hardware? Or will that void my entry? Wed Feb 12 07:20:33 2003 |
| craig | sounds like you might need to reload the post page as i changed some things to try to prevent spam programs posting in here as we saw a while ago. Do a SHIFT + CTRL + RELOAD in ie. Wed Feb 12 01:40:01 2003 |
| mat | Why can't I post at work anymore? it reckons: "you appear to have entered a blank entry" or summit. I was gonna say, I want a GP32 purely 'cos of the Mp3 player capability, the games would be a bonus....noise. Tue Feb 11 22:04:11 2003 |
| mwng | Sooperb, I'll have to drop you a mail for one of those linker kits, methinks they may sell fairly rapid syle. Noice. Tue Feb 11 13:20:11 2003 |
| craig | there is a full speed neopop port but its not (publicly) released, the speed is fine in MOST games but the compatability is a bit weak. The GP32 scene is really picking up now so its not going to be long before thats sorted out. However i am seeing if i can get maybe 20 ngcp and some games/linker kit. Tue Feb 11 12:46:08 2003 |
| mwng | I do plan on getting a GP32, but only if and when the emulators are in better shape. You ain't played a good handheld fighter 'till you've played Match of the Millenium (still better than SFA on GBA,) which I doubt the GP32's NGPC emu could handle right now. And SNK Vs Capcom CFC was a surprise for me, I'm still playing it to this day. The most attractive thing the GP32 can offer me just now is PCE and WS emulation, apparently they're looking quite good (my GT is pissing me off, battery guzzling prick that it is.) Tue Feb 11 10:12:11 2003 |
| Mr. Runner | How about a review of the GP32, eh? Mon Feb 10 22:15:37 2003 |
| Sickdick | FUKIN Ell...... Neogeo this..neogeo that.................come out of the past FFS......buy a GP32.... and d/l an emu and play any platform you wanna play colour or speccy green....fuckin ell it aint rocket science.Craig why not compile a cd of GP32 games and sell them instead?. Mon Feb 10 21:35:51 2003 |
| Xen0n | Hi I emailed you about neo geos last week. I would be interested in purchasing a colour one and maybe a black and white one as well if you got them in stock. I'm sure quite a few other people I know would as well Mon Feb 10 21:10:32 2003 |
| craig | i do want to get them in stock i'm trying to find another supplier who has some, the reason the others are so cheap is the supplier has far too many and they can't get rid of them, but they want me to buy the black and white ones too (i think they know its the only way they will ever shift them). I'll see what i can do, but the price might well go up to around £20 - £30. I played with the NGPC emu for the GP32, it can run some games full speed, but if you want perfect compatability it gets s l o w, but then again its running 100% PC C++ code... Mon Feb 10 20:43:51 2003 |
| Sickdick | I must say I,m looking forward to the rows that will come when London starts charging people to sit in traffic, Fuking £80 if not paid the same day............MUWHHHAAAAAAAAAAAA..... middle class backlash..hahahahahahahaha Mon Feb 10 19:03:04 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | P2P has always worked ok for me, in anycase I ain't got anything else to compare it to, 1gig a day and I'd soon run out of things to d/load. Pretty much find most things I want and if not I have a good supplier. Mon Feb 10 17:01:15 2003 |
| sir jimmy saville | Mon Feb 10 14:20:38 2003 |
| mwng | OK, last try before you get pissed off with me and add me to your Danny list. You'd have to buy loads of them, got it, but CEX (just an example, there are loads of places that would take two or three,) would buy a few B&W ones off you for a tenner a pop, and I'd buy a few of them too. They also give £29 for a new NGPC, OK, so they wouldn't take 200 off you, but I reckon you'd sell enough off the site to make it worthwhile, just point out that the games are available off of ebay for a reasonable price. Oh, and offer a dev cart/kit at more than you're charging for the GBA stuff. And I didn't mail you about them either... Mon Feb 10 09:53:32 2003 |
| Soggster | What the bloody hell am I doing posting at this time of day. 9 o'clock, and there was me thinking there was only one 9 o'clock a day! Back to bed! Mon Feb 10 09:06:27 2003 |
| Soggster | Don't feel sorry for Johnsy, he's a tosser, he downloads 2 svcd's a day at the current rate. It's people like him who are destroying the film industry. PS. Johnsy mate, I've got that copy of Punch Drunk Love for you. Have you done those ones for me? Mon Feb 10 09:05:08 2003 |
| Uncle Fucker | There's no problem with P2P, if that's all you have access to. I would probably use them if I _had_ to, but I download a lot of DVDR's. That's like ~4.5Gb per movie, and they're not something that you find kicking around P2P networks normally. And, I get my stuff a lot earlier than it ever hits the P2P networks. It's horses for courses, but I'm sure that given the chance you'd rather leech off a 40mbit distro, with no fear of losing the download source, than you would off ED2K or DC, etc.... Tell me if I'm wrong... Mon Feb 10 09:02:24 2003 |
| craig | i still don't understand the mysterious piss taking of p2p programs, i never have any trouble getting what i want at 64kps on them (or 128kps on my sisters connection), although i mostly just get the odd DVD and TV series (24, upto half way now :) when are they shit for downloading? Mon Feb 10 02:46:34 2003 |
| Uncle Fucker | I get my stuff from xxmbit distros. A fortunate kick back from my fxping days. In those days, I could u/d with my work connection, which, of course, gave me a serious advantage. These days, I rely on my old contacts, for a small slice of the bandwidth, which I rape with my somewhat poxy DSL connections. Fortunately I don't have to bother with P2P junk like edky, or dc. If I did, and if I had NTL, then the 1Gb xfer limit per day wouldn't be a problem would it---I'd be lucky, no, very lucky to xfer 1mb per day... Mon Feb 10 02:20:00 2003 |
| BattleM@n | "Oh, but how will I live with only 1Gb a day?" - FOAD you BB bastards :( Mon Feb 10 01:00:22 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | Uncle Fucker if you would like to enlighten me on your sources it would be greatly appreciated m8. Mon Feb 10 00:44:51 2003 |
| craigix | More people read this then we might think, had a few emails about the NGPC, this is the situation for all you lurkers. I have to buy 200 of them at least, and i have serious doubts about being able to sell them all because i cannot source games for them, and i'd have to also buy 100 black and white NGP too (which come with a tennis game) AND the weight of all that would mean the shipping cost would be greater than the cost of the goods. Could i suggest you get a GP32 and use a NGP emulator? It makes more sence, although the gp32 is not $4 :) Mon Feb 10 00:30:08 2003 |
| Uncle Fucker... | EDonkey. LMFAO!!!! Sun Feb 9 23:46:30 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | Johnsy I reckon it's a f*ckin liberty, how am I going to download all them Xbox games from Edonkey now? Patience is a virtue they say. Might dob it in soon along with the TV service which is f*ckin diabolical too. Sun Feb 9 23:29:08 2003 |

| Graig | Why is everyone picking on me ? Sun Feb 9 17:07:58 2003 |
| craig | yeah i hate that Graig kid, idiots keep confusing him with me. I mean who has ever heard of ANYONE called Graig? Sun Feb 9 14:02:46 2003 |
| MINCEY FAGGOT | Graig you are a COCK NUT Sun Feb 9 13:33:38 2003 |
| Uncle Fucker | Very amusing. At least BTO is still uncapped. I transfer 3-4Gb per day on average, so I'm pleased I'm still with BTO, and didn't swap to NTL. Phew. Sun Feb 9 12:15:45 2003 |
| Johnsy | Any NTL users on here? What did you think about their broadband service being capped, so that you can only download 1GB in a 24HR period.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/2740621.stm Sun Feb 9 11:13:29 2003 |

| egnaro | sign me up for one of those four dollar ngpcs... Sat Feb 8 17:39:12 2003 |
| mwng | Nah, I never told you that, Codies never even considered the NGPC, only major consoles and PC for them (if you call the XBox a major console that is, I sure as fuck don't.) Sorry if this is boring, I just wanna cheap NGPC and dev cart to match =) Pleeeaseeee... Sat Feb 8 12:29:57 2003 |
| Powerhouse | I'd quite like to holiday in a nudist colony this year but the missus won't let me. Sat Feb 8 11:38:57 2003 |
| mum | haha what a loser that danny is, what a fucking gob shite. someone slap him for me. Fri Feb 7 22:50:19 2003 |
| craig | wwhhaaattt why was i told twice of its existance, were you one of the people who told me about it? I was told they just never bothered releasing it. Fri Feb 7 21:30:55 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | Danny is Matthew Kelly's lovechild.Got a funny text today: A ship was sinkin' with Matt Kelly onboard,Captain say's "abandon ship" man say's "kids first" woman say's "Fuck the Kids" Kelly say's "Do you think we've got time?" Fri Feb 7 16:27:06 2003 |
| Sickdick | I used to luv Texan bars, and choc hearts, and Amazin Rasin bars and that coconut stuff that was supposed to be tabacco, and gold nuggets bubble gum it used to come in a little cotton sack. Fri Feb 7 16:05:42 2003 |
| Sickdick | Woolies still sell spangles, BUT not my fav Olde English.....luverly Fri Feb 7 15:56:31 2003 |
| BattleM@n | Awwww! it's nice to hear what happened to people isn't it - now does anyone remember spangles....OOooHh...and Space Dust.... ;) Fri Feb 7 14:24:18 2003 |
| mwng | Aww, you could sell 'em for a tenner, or try and see if it's possible to fit an afterburner to 'em and sell them for shitloads more. I know loads of folks who'd like a back-lit NGPC (despite the fact that it doesn't really need one.)Oh, and sorry to disagree with you Craig, but Codies never made an official version of Dizzy for the NGPC, I used to work there y'see and I would've loved to have worked on one =) http://www.softnfuzzy.freeserve.co.uk/ will give you the out of date story on it's independant (and incomplete,) developement by an ex codies tools programmer. Fri Feb 7 13:54:18 2003 |
| craig | There is already an official version of dizzy for the NGPC from codemasters, although i believe it is the rarest game of all for it (apparently less that 100 made). The $4 price was tempting but i could not manage to track down any games for it, i have considered giving them away for orders over a certain amount, but with no games... Fri Feb 7 13:37:36 2003 |
| green fairy dot com | Hate mail rocks. Fri Feb 7 09:56:12 2003 |
| mwng | Cool, I just added Danny boy to the old messenger thingie. I can't wait for a convo with this fruit. Anyways, NGPC's for $4??? Jeez, I want some of that action. I wanted the dev carts to fock about with, one or two of my old colleauges are making games for it (a conversion of Dizzy among other things.) Softnfuzzy.co.uk I think the address is. And, erm, Faselei! $4...$4 for a NGPC???? I've already got two, but I'd like the full set of colours (Yes, I'm that sad.) Fri Feb 7 09:42:08 2003 |
| Uncle Fucker | LMFAO!!!! I like the way that even after threatening to mail bomb you, and then threatening to hack your PC, the still says "bye" at the end of the conversation. Fucking hilarious.... ;) Thu Feb 6 21:27:45 2003 |
| Sickdick | Danny the Fanny, what a wanker! Thu Feb 6 20:56:49 2003 |
| craig | I can get them, but... WHY! lol. I can get the consoles for (and i am serious here) $4 each. I considered giving away 50 of them as a bit of a joke. Also folks, today we welcome back a guest star to the main page, go and check it out. Thu Feb 6 20:03:56 2003 |
| mwng | Does anybody know where I can get an NGPC dev cart/kit in the UK. I don't have a credit card, the bastards won't give me one. So I'm stuck with this shitty switch card. (A wonderswan kit would also be nice...) What's the chances then? Craig? Thu Feb 6 12:13:13 2003 |
| Soggster | I didn't mean you FUM, and anyway, I thought you'd gone for another year. Thu Feb 6 09:38:20 2003 |
| Fat Uncle Mark | Soggster, how do you know I look like a freak from the chamber of horrors.. I should sue you for that remark, unfortunatey I wouldn't win as I do in fact look I was hit with the ugly stick at birth... nevermind... Thu Feb 6 09:36:26 2003 |
| BiccyGuy | Shouldn't that be a pathetic penis, personally I just think Jacko has ever had sex, he even said himself he was scared ! As for the kids in his bedroom, well someone should tell Jackson to start playing the white man. Thu Feb 6 03:26:32 2003 |
| Soggster | Eh? Where did that come from? Thu Feb 6 00:01:40 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | Jacko is missing the 2 main ingredients in sausages Balls and Brains! Wed Feb 5 21:45:53 2003 |
| Guy Incognito | Perhaps Soggster is an Eunuch? Wed Feb 5 17:18:52 2003 |
| Powerhouse | Hmmm that's right, the eunuchs on Up Pompeii were generally fat and bald weren't they. And they had funny squeaky voices. It's the children I feel sorry for :-(. Perhaps it would be kinder to kill them all in their sleep. Wed Feb 5 16:42:32 2003 |
| mwng | Some dude told me that castrati were generally fat due to the lack of testosterone needed to control metabolic rate, but I reckon thyroxine or some other kind of hormone would counteract that effect. Certainly an overabundance of thyroxine would make you dance about like a twitchy fuckwit, much like he began doing about the time his bollocks would have dropped. No reply from the Sun yet, I reckon they're trying to do me out of some money here. Wed Feb 5 16:09:30 2003 |
| Minder | Shoots out fucking vanilla milkshake. Wed Feb 5 15:52:12 2003 |
| Dr Frankenfurter | No. I heard that he has a prothetic penis. Supposedly (I heard this from one of his minders, who now works on the door of our local club), his penis because infected by the bleach that he used to lighten his skin. The doctors couldn't save it, and ended up having to whip it off before the gangarine took his legs too. Anyway, now he has a prothetic nob that is gas powered - supposedly it can extend to over a foot long... Wed Feb 5 15:11:45 2003 |
| Sir Lurkalot | The "Jacko-no-sacko" idea would explain the out of court settlement with that dentist's kid. "Give me money or I tell the world about Bert & Ernie not being home" sort of thing. Wed Feb 5 14:45:40 2003 |
| Soggster | It would be wrong because he is like something out of a chamber of horrors and would obviously mentaly disturb an already ill child. Wed Feb 5 14:34:43 2003 |
| green fairy dot com | Just because you would be lynched if you took and ill boy into your bed doesn't mean you should be - if there's nothing sexual happening, why is it wrong? Wed Feb 5 13:59:29 2003 |

| mwng | Heh, so I'm not missing something then?Cool, I've just mailed the Sun to see how much they would pay for this theory of mine =) Tue Feb 4 16:40:28 2003 |
| Powerhouse | Yes Mwng you are a genius. Tue Feb 4 15:17:57 2003 |
| Sir Lurkalot | Outstanding! I love that theory. It explains so much. I suggest you invent a reason why you could know this as a fact (i.e. you were a worker at Neverland or whatever) and then e-mail this revelation to The Sun. I reckon it would be on the front page tomorrow! Tue Feb 4 14:49:16 2003 |
| mwng | I've been pushing this theory about Jacko since last night, folks think I'm wrong but I haven't been given a reason as to why yet; He was castrated before his voice broke, think about it, they had to be sure he's keep his singing voice, and he did, those kids last night were obviously not his, unless he's been altered at a genetic level to be caucasian, and his complete lack of understanding as to why having kids other than your own sleep in your bedroom is wrong, not to mention the fact that he's fucking hatstand mental. Can somebody help me out and point big holes in my theory please? Tue Feb 4 12:03:42 2003 |
| Fat Uncle Mark... | I fucked that post up didnt I???If you highlight it (selct it) you ca get the gist of what I said.. Tue Feb 4 11:00:05 2003 |
| Fat Uncle Mark | Fat Uncle Mark here, back from the dead, but felt I had to comment on the Michael Jackson programme last night... The guy says he has only ever had plastic surgery twice in his life, and that was on his nose... What a fucking liar, he said that his face had just changed over the years.. How could Martin Bashmir sit there without saying "You are a fucking liar Mick!!"..And that part where he had that 12 year old boy "Gavin" holding his hand and snuggled up with him on the sofa, very very creepy!! If I was to take in an ill child, hug him, cuddle him and let him sleep in my bed I would be dragged out of my house and lynched...The guy has serious mental illness and needs to sort his life out. He could of done himself all kinds of favours with this interview if he had been up front and said "I didnt like my face so I changed it, and I like shagging little boys.." OK, maybe not that, but he could of lied a little more convincingly...See you again in another 12 months!! Fat Uncle Mark Tue Feb 4 10:59:08 2003 |
| craig | i'd go as far to say if the torture scences along with the racial abuse during them were in a film, it would be cut. But yes, the game was very short, very easy and absolutely no replay value. GTA3 is still my fave game. Mon Feb 3 21:03:24 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | Is it true in The Getaway that there are 28 miles of perfectly mapped miles, with Telephone boxes, trees and litter bins in exactly the right spots? Also heard the torture scenes are about as violent as it gets. Sounds pretty damn good to me. Mon Feb 3 16:28:47 2003 |
| Soggster | I though the Getaway was good, but not a great game by any stretch. I'm still being given the shivers by Silent Hill 2. A masterwork of survival horror. Much less mainstream than resident evil, and much better for it. I've just chased the little girl into the hospital....great, another 2 hours of not wanting to open any doors. Must be played of course on a 52 inch telly with great big fuck off speakers turned up full blast, in the dark, on your own. Classic. I just found out that you can download all the creepy tunes from winmx too. Joy! Mon Feb 3 13:30:20 2003 |
| mwng | GP32 isn't backlit, the afterburner can be fitted but it takes some healthy modding, and I doubt it would be very reliable anyways. And yes, the Getaway is good, but my god it ain't great, in fact it's incredibly flawed for a game at number one. True it isn't like GTA (more like driver with guns,) but it's also nowhere near as good. Mon Feb 3 12:17:17 2003 |
| BattleM@n | The Getaway is great (if not a bit too easy to complete - roughly 12 or 13 hours total). You cannot access much in free roaming mode, though you can hunt for the hidden cars & stuff. Dunno why everyone compared it to GTA3 & VC tho' - it's such a different game else - honest! Mon Feb 3 01:11:13 2003 |
| Uncle Fucker | What about that Unreal 2 then eh? It's a chore to drag myself away from it. I predict that i'll be too ill to work this week ;) Sun Feb 2 23:22:27 2003 |
| chris | Recently finished the getaway- awesome game. Does anyone know if you can enter any interiors during free roam mode? Does the time change (i.e. dusk, dawn, night) or the weather in free roam mode? Sun Feb 2 20:37:35 2003 |
| Sickdick | Is the gp32 backlit? and if not can a standard afterburner be fitted? Sun Feb 2 13:05:47 2003 |
| Arnold Nipplonk | I for one would like to know how many of the Kids From Fame are still alive. None, I hope. Well maybe Doris. Sun Feb 2 02:06:48 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | It was a long time ago, but from memory once you had collected all the ship pieces you took the rocket back to Funkytron where you could move about freely as in the game, and I think you got to Jam with the rest of your Family. I remember it being quite a good end unlike some I have finished, which isn't that many! Sat Feb 1 19:53:34 2003 |
| craig | i liked toe jam and earl, but never finished it, i sort of need closure on that. Spiderman was the only other game i never finished on the medadrive, but i completed it about a year ago on an emulator, if your wondering the ending was shit, there was not even any new graphics or text, strange when the rest of the game had good comic book cut scenes. I liked toe jam and earl 2 too, it was just as bizarre. But of course the best game of all time strangeness and 'i can't believe they published it' was wizkid sheer sheer brilliance. Sat Feb 1 16:57:00 2003 |
| Soggster | I remeber it, in fact i think my brother and i finished it. Crazy game. I have been playing the upbeat Silent Hill 2 this afternoon. Now that gives me the creeps. Sat Feb 1 16:50:16 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | Been playing Toe-Jam and Earl 3 on the XBox, does anybody remember Toe-Jam on the Megadrive, I reckon one of the most fun playable co-op games ever, very similar gameplay on 3 and the same Funky toons too. Sat Feb 1 12:07:29 2003 |
| I should get out more | Ooh, hark at her! Fri Jan 31 20:46:44 2003 |
| Jacqui | I'm always here reading up on you! Just haven't been bothered to reply as the topic isn't interesting! I have been busy applying for jobs! Fri Jan 31 19:01:32 2003 |

| craig | I too have a love hate relationship with the daily mail, I don't buy it, I just read my mothers copy, lately they seem to almost be a political party in themselves as since the Tories died out they don't know who to support (there's always the BNP) and kind of come up with their own campaigns, I wonder if a paper could run for government, we could have Lynda Lee-Potter as President Potter, shamelessly trading on her fictional relationship to Harry Potter to get the 18-25 vote. And I'd like to see hopelessly ill informed columnist George Best as Home Secretary drunkenly making up laws in the style of the late, great, Screaming Lord Sutch. Fri Jan 31 11:45:28 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | This shandy drinking southern softy has got the day off. A mate of mine never uses banks less he has too so most of the time he has a load of cash in his wallet. After paying for something he slowly closes his wallet making out he can't close it and says "I'm having a job making ends meet" Fri Jan 31 08:52:45 2003 |
| Soggster | My wallet is so large that my servants live in it. They burn fivers to keep warm. They also eat cake. I don't read newspapers, they are all utter populist wank, changing their stance depending on currant popular opinion, or for those of you who read the smaller "news"papers, the size of some 18 year old girls tits. A girl who's tits not 2 years earlier would have got them on there own trumped up peado hall of shame. Wankers, the lot of them. Thu Jan 30 23:09:18 2003 |
| Powerhouse | I grew up reading the Daily Mail and yes, I did love it. Then at the age of about fifteen I realised that it was an evil right-wing bigoted propoganda machine and I hated every word I read in it (although I still read it every day because my dad had it delivered, even though it made my blood boil). Then about a year ago I decided that even though I knew it was a pile of shit, there's always going to be a load of people who are going to get in a rage about asylum seekers and how Madonna is desperate to be part of the English gentry, and we'll all be dead in a hundred years anyway so why worry? Enjoy the damn paper for all its intolerances, for all its contradiction, it's only a bloody newspaper after all! Why, I might even begin to think that Jeff Powell is a decent human being one of these days. So yes sir, you are correct. I DO love the Daily Mail and I wear my badge with pride. Good day to you sir. | Sickdick | So this is what happened to Jacqui, http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_744848.html?menu=news.weirdworld.badtaste Thu Jan 30 21:56:41 2003 |
| I should get out more | Charlotte Church. She isn't a real pop star. I bet she trained in classical music or something. Pop lesbians? Manufactured in some lesbian pop factory. You're still all going on about house prices. You all love the Daily Mail. Russ is right, and his sentiments remind me of the moving song about the homeless by Mel C. Nothing manufactured about the Spice Girls. Is that the real Russ anyway? Wasn't he being shagged senseless by American rent boys the last time he was with us? Thu Jan 30 21:42:54 2003 |
| Powerhouse | Danny I think you'll find that Russian lesbian duo are in fact "Paedo-Pop", along with Britney Spears and Charlotte Church. It said so in the Daily Mail yesterday. Disgusting. Thu Jan 30 16:20:04 2003 |
| kARloSfAndaNgO | Dude this is Rant Back so I thought I might Have a little Rant! Hope you find your twin sounds like you have a lot in common!Meanwhile back on the property front I reckon sit it out for a little while, I moved in Sep 02 and sold in 8 days, according to Estate Agents now there is a Build-up of property and they are not moving, next interest rates up, the writings on the wall, Boom then Bust. Everyone loves harping about the money they made/make, but nobody tells you about their losses in early 90's. I got caught back then so BEWARE!! Thu Jan 30 15:52:25 2003 |
